Extremely Elementary Academic Paragraph Writing Lesson
An introductory lesson

This lesson can be used as a kind of crash course in the basic types and components of academic paragraphs. At least, that’s how I used it. It’s useful for students who have some vocabulary skills but have never been taught how to structure their writing. I taught it to two large classes and afterwards edited and improved the PDF to make it as self-explanatory as possible. So the lesson moves from brainstorming and note writing to sentence writing, outlining and finally the completion of a paragraph.
